The Sennheiser HD 600 headphones are one of the more popular headphones out there for Mix Engineers. The advanced diaphram is designed to eliminate standing waves, they have a frequency response of 16-30,000Hz (-3db) with an impedance of 300 ohms. I like the 10 foot detachable cable as well. Sennheiser does offer an upgraded cable option which I am considering because at times the cable needs to be tightly inserted back into the headphone. This is the only knock and it is a slight one that I have on the HD 600 model. It is lightweight and has an open back metal mesh covered ear cups that are extremly comfortable. I have used them for around a year now and must say the acuracy and comfort is amazing. They are a bit pricy around $350.00 USD street price. But for the money I have found nothing that comes close. I like to mix with these as a second reference source to my Dynaudio studio monitors
